Pananagutan

Living God’s love in action — our shared responsibility of faith.

“Love one another as I have loved you.”

— John 15:12

We are called not only to proclaim the Lord from the mountaintop so that others might know about Him, but to represent Him to one another — through the lives we live each day — so that He comes alive and all can recognize Him.

To be in the trenches of discipleship, to inspire one another to serve God in whatever station of life we are, in however many roles we fill, is to respond with gratitude to the call of His love — to our sacred responsibility to Him and to one another — in this shared mission called Pananagutan.

Together, we can do it.

As Mother Teresa once said:

“I alone cannot change the world. But I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples.”

We can make this a world of Pananagutan — one grateful, humble stone at a time.
