My year-ender made me reflect on the past months which quickly passed – filled with both down and upward moments. I felt comforted with the joyous opportunities that I experienced throughout the year and the hope of receiving more graces from above.
I picked up my white canvas and allowed myself to express my thoughts. While painting, my heart controlled my hands. I visualized beautiful flowers under the sea, allowing them to flow despite the pressure of water trying to bring them down. The flowers of all forms gathered together in dynamic rings while maintaining their grace. They were dancing in circular motions with the waves, moving with the tide, and letting the rhythm of the water set their souls free.
The abundance of beautiful colors for the new year is so empowering. The color pink signifies hope, yellow to give more light, and blue for a peaceful year. These are colors that will maintain my positive outlook in life as I feel the outpouring of abundant blessings for the new year.

Indeed, these unsettling times could have brought us all down, yet despite the setbacks, we remain strong and upright with hope. God has allowed us to flow into the new year, not perfect but whole, not sure of what is to come but hearts at rest in trust and fidelity to him.

This painting with its imagery of flow and motion conveys to us an important message. That as we usher in 2022, new blessings unfold while blessings of old we continue to hold and together we behold in our midst God’s abundant glory!
2021 taught us resiliency so we welcome 2022 with so much abundance of hope, peace and love🙏💗💗💗👏👏. Lessons learned will somehow equip us with guarded optimism but full of positive affirmations to face 2022 like the underwater go-with-the flow flowers😍
